The Parcel Puzzle

project, a suite of 20 unique FME workspaces were developed to translate over 850 data sets, creating a structured, seamless and consistent GIS parcel feature - something no other single agency had yet to accomplish. The presentation will highlight how the FME workspaces utilize numerous techniques to improve source data by transforming, conflating, edge-match snapping, converting line strings to true circular arcs, creating feature class annotation from CAD, mapping and standardizing attributes, and by harmonizing linear boundaries with underlying parcels.
