Integrate Your HYPACK Border Files with FME
HYPACK software platforms are used to analyze data collected from hydrographic and dredging projects. Border files are an essential component of HYPACK projects because they help define how to clip data and limit calculations on volume, sediment levels, or velocity to a designated area. With FME transformers you can build border files based on boundary layers from other datasets, or integrate HYPACK borders for use in other programs. The FME drag-and-drop interface makes this process extremely easy!
Choose Your Areas of Interest
Collecting more data than needed is good practice for fieldwork. However, when it comes to data processing, you may decide that it’s not in your best interest to analyze it all. Use FME to create or use .brd and .b84 files for HYPACK projects from existing data instead of manually selecting water extents or riparian boundaries. Soon you will be living beneath the (virtual) waves in your FME data machine!

Automate Workflows for HYPACK
While you’re out in the field recording data, use FME Server to automatically convert your data back in the lab so that everything is ready to go by the time you’re back. Upload a variety of workflows with your necessary specifications to reduce any potential data blunders. With this type of efficiency, you’ll have results in no time.
