Overview

Often the best eyes you’ll have on your city are those of your citizens. So, it’s no secret that they’re likely to spot issues that need addressing before your team is able to get out in the field themselves.

Imagine you’re driving to work when you stop short of a large pothole. To make sure the city knows about this issue, you decide to report it to the municipality using the “Citizen Pothole Reporting App”.

Powered by FME Server Apps, this application will send a report directly to Cityworks as a Service Request. After sending a report, your municipality will receive and verify the Service Request and then create a Work Order in Cityworks to repair the pothole.

How It Works

  1. Fill out the information of your pothole report in the app below. Click “OK” to run the app.
  2. After running the app you'll receive an email confirming the details of your Service Request to the email address submitted in the app. In the email, there will be a link to another FME Server App called “Pothole Service Request Status Checker”. Use it to check the status of your report.
